With the 400S, the Lagoon rediscovers the pleasure of sailing, the boat runs well, it is even fast and so easy to use thanks to a steering position (electric winch) with perfect ergonomics. The circulation on board is exemplary. A boat capable of carrying out all facets of a program. This 4-cabin example has had two owners, it was managed in a family business on the French Riviera. The 400S was rented 8 to 10 times a year (weeks or weekends). The set of sails (furling mainsail) is 2024

part of the boat test published by Multihulls World:
The 400 is spacious, comfortable and smart, so heavy, but it works well! It is a simple and fun sailboat that is agile at all speeds. Don't expect exceptional performances from him, but he surprised us positively. The small front from last night finishes crossing our area and it is with rotation W that we leave La Rochelle. The traction of the 40 HP coupled to two-blade folding propellers is generous, the 30 HP version will prove sufficient in most cases. The 400 easily crosses the frontal chop of the channel at 7.5 knots, the top speed is around 8.5 knots. The silence and flexibility of progression are remarkable. The north wind strengthens near La Pallice, this will be the first moment of truth because the 400 starts without blinking upwind towards the Breton Pertuis. The breeze rising quickly from 15 to 20 then 25 knots allows us to see that the speed remains sustained 8-9 knots at 55° from actual and that the anti-drift plan is working perfectly. The 400 shows that it clearly tolerates a momentary overlay, after reefing 1, comfort improves and we follow a series of tacks along the E coast of the Île de Ré. In these nervous conditions, the 400 is doing very well, does not hit and goes upwind properly. The tacks are carried out solo and highlight the excellence of the Harken fittings and the organization of the deck plan. The vision forward and the observation of the mainsail volume are perfect, more surprising are the velocity of the pivoting and the relaunch on exit in this one meter chop. The general balance is successful, the dynamic support on the ailerons with their limited aspect ratio is satisfactory. The correctly sized wheel is quite direct (if not very expressive), thanks to the transmission by lines. After 2 hours of this exercise, we reach Oléron. Wide reach under 1 main reef, the 400 trots between 8.5 and 11 knots at reach, showing remarkable comfort, the pilot has no difficulty in keeping the boat on rails with a cross chop now formed. Proud to have amazed everyone upwind and wide, the 400 decides to impress us at full throttle and takes advantage of gusts at 20 knots on flat seas to prance at 9-10.5 knots! We wait with the tide at the entrance to Boyardville before taking the last buoy SW of the island of Aix. In the morning, the strong breeze of the day before faded and we set sail in 4 knots of NE. The guy manages to surprise me again, so we are going to test his good dispositions in very light weather by entering the Charente. Under genaker and GV, the 400 delivers the magic of the estuary to Soubise. Lunch (almost on the grass) at the mooring point, in the afternoon we knit tacks to Aix, Fort Boyard and Ré in order to gain in the wind (7 knots of speed for 11 knots of wind at 50°) before sending our large triradial spinnaker. On the reach we arrive at 8.5-9 knots in 13 actual knots with perfect course stability. I appreciated this versatility at all speeds.
