LAGOON 560 – OWNER’S VERSION – MAJOR 2025 REFIT – BLUEWATER CRUISING CONFIGURATION
Lagoon 560 Owner’s Version with four cabins, benefiting from extensive technical preparation and a recent comprehensive refit. The yacht is now fully ready for immediate departure and ideally equipped for long-distance offshore cruising.
YACHT HISTORY
The yacht was delivered new with a long-range cruising programme in mind.
The first owner planned to sail to Australia with his wife. With this objective, he spent nearly two years in Spain carrying out extensive preparations and upgrades.
These preparations notably included:
improvement of the grounding system to reduce lightning-related risks
installation of surge protection systems
implementation of redundancy for critical onboard systems
The yacht was also prepared for the ARC – Atlantic Rally for Cruisers – including:
upgraded safety equipment
onboard organisation adapted for offshore sailing
redundancy of essential systems
The yacht is fitted with a redundant mechanical engine-control system:
additional controls located at the stern
direct connection using steel cables
fully independent from the electronic controls
The yacht subsequently crossed the Atlantic to Saint Martin.
CURRENT OWNER’S SAILING HISTORY
Between 2010 and 2016, the current owner sailed with his family and three children for approximately nine months per year aboard a Lagoon 500, cruising from France to French Polynesia.
The Lagoon 560 was purchased in Saint Martin in 2017 and then sailed directly to French Polynesia.
